Hello All

I just got home from one of the better nights I've had in a long time. My film which was laboriously worked over, over came several HUGE set backs, and survived a nervous collapse won Best Script in the school district's Film Festival against over 20 other films. My lead actor also won the award for Best Overall Male Actor. We racked up about $60 in prize money.

I was not at the Festival and was nearly in tears when the coordinator called me at the play I'm currently acting in to tell me what I won. I'm being offered a position in the Production Studio homeroom which is an amazing honor to be asked to join. They also have offered me a position as leader of the Film Festival next year, an honor which has never been offered to an up and coming Junior.

The Principal of our school was highly impressed as well as the teachers judging the film. The legendary figures of the Production studio who were present asked specifically for my name and told our coordinator that they absolutely adored my film above all others.

I have not had any formal filming or editing training, not even a summer workshop or anything. I did everything by myself and I'm absolutely stunned that all this work has amounted to this.

Anyways.. The show I'm in right now is called "The Heiress". It is playing at the Forge Theater in Pheonixville. I HIGHLY recomend you come check this play out. The cast is absolutely amazing and the costumes are to die for. "Based on a Henry James 1880 novel, the story of The Heiress centers around the socially awkward and painfully shy spinster Catherine, who stands to inherit a tidy sum and suddenly finds herself the object of the attentions of the handsome but penniless Morris Townsend.  A classic tale of love and betrayal" Playing April 20, 21, 27, 28, May 3, 4, 5 at 8 PM and April 29 at 2:00 PM.

Next up at the Forge Theater is a play caled Farragut North. I have been asked to design thier set which I hope will be amazing. I'll you know when that rolls around.

As for other projects I'm working on right now, I have 2 murals in the works. One is for our school's police officer and the second is for my senior graduation project. I am very very excited about both.

So yeah, sorry to spout about me me me. I hope everyone else is doing alright. I'm sorry if I haven't gotten to talk to you recently too much. I've been busy busy busy. So. How's life?
